Our son Dylan has been taking lessons from Jake for a year and a half. When he started with Jake, he mainly wanted to play 80's rock. In a short amount of time with some encouragement from Jake, he expanded his musical interests and Jake helped him expand his skill set. He auditioned for and got into his middle school Jazz band. He was then recruited by [Dakota Ridge High School] to play in their marching band and had a blast. He recently played with in the All-County Honor Jazz Band. We could not be happier with the way Jake has taken Dylan's passion and helped him improve and expand his drumming skills.
